Mountain
There was a girl
And she wrote his name
On a little piece of white paper.
She kept it in her pocket
She lit red candles
And dreamt of them together.
In the dreams
The mountain mist was thick
And the air was chilly
But they were wrapped up warm
Together.
And then she woke.
There was a girl
Who walked for miles and miles
Until she reached a mountain.
With fire in her eyes
And coal in her head
She walked and walked.
She opened her palm to the wind
And let the little piece of paper fly.
It flew away in the dirty air.
She didn’t dream again.
